Minerva’s Virtual Academy to offer 10 free places to displaced Ukrainian children

With the current state of affairs within Ukraine, we are delighted to be able to offer ten free places for Ukrainian students here at Minerva’s Virtual Academy - so that disrupted children do not have to suffer disruption to their education.

This is in tandem with the Government's Homes for Ukraine scheme. Head of Marketing and Admissions Clare is taking a Ukrainian mother and her son into their home in Kent, and their son will benefit from online learning at our school.

If you have any family or friends who are sponsoring Ukrainian families, and who may benefit from this, please email clare@minervavirtual.com.

The only prerequisites are that the children must be of the correct age (academic Year 9 or Year 10), they must be arriving into the UK from Ukraine on a sponsored visa through the government scheme above, and they must have a good level of English to access our learning.

We're keen to get the message spread as far as we can and are delighted that the offer has been picked up by various news outlets. Please share this post to help us raise awareness!
