Minerva's proven formula could solve Ofsted's pupil attendance crisis

In light of the release of Ofsted's latest annual report, it has risen to the surface that pupil attendance has been persistently lower than before the pandemic.

According to Amanda Spielman, chief inspector of schools, the parent-schools societal contract has begun to disintegrate. Post-pandemic, families expect schools to be well-versed to continue providing education remotely, as some parents found that keeping children at home was often the optimal outcome for their child's wellbeing.

Our founder and CEO, Hugh Viney, acknowledges the difficulty for schools with traditional systems to provide quality remote learning for the minority of students whose parents feel that they would wish to keep them at home.

Mainstream schools simply aren't suitable for every pupil.
