This March 18th - 24th, we step into Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2024, an opportunity to deepen our understanding and appreciation of the diverse ways our brains operate. As a school committed to inclusivity and understanding, we're excited to guide you through what this week has to offer and why it matters.

Why Focus on Neurodiversity?

At MVA, nearly half of our students are on the SEND register. We're a community rich in diversity, with neurodivergence touching many of our lives directly. Understanding neurodiversity - from ADHD and autism to dyslexia and dyspraxia - is not just about recognising differences but about valuing them as strengths.

What's Happening This Week?

Neurodiversity Celebration Week promises an impressive lineup of events. They’re hosting panels with speakers from various backgrounds to explore critical topics in neurodiversity. These events aim to educate and inspire, fostering a space for conversation and learning.
