We follow a range of exam boards depending on the subject and level. For IGCSEs, we primarily use Pearson Edexcel. For International A Levels, we work with Pearson Edexcel, OCR, and Cambridge Assessment (more detail can be found here).

Can I sit my exams remotely?

We off our IGCSE students in Year 11 the option to sit their exams online using Pearson's Remote Invigilation Service (RIS). This allows students to take their exams from the comfort of their home or any other suitable location, provided certain technical requirements are met.

Do I need to be a British National to study GCSE online at MVA?

Absolutely not! MVA is a global institution and we welcome students of all nationalities. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a commitment to learning.

Is it possible to study GCSE subjects that aren’t on the core curriculum?

Absolutely. Private tuition can be arranged through Minerva Tutors for students who wish to take extra subjects, or for those who need extra help with subjects they find challenging. Some very advanced students may also take A Levels alongside their GCSEs.

Where do I take my exams?

Exam centres are available across the UK and internationally, and we’ll support you in arranging exam entry for each of your subjects. For eligible IGCSE qualifications, you may also sit your exams remotely via our Remote Invigilation Service, delivered in partnership with Pearson.
