No! You don't have to be a British National, or reside in the UK, to take GCSEs. MVA is a global institution and we welcome students of all nationalities. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a commitment to learning.
No, school trips are not compulsory. For some students - like Georgina (watch her story here) - joining a school trip is a real milestone.
The student and their family are responsible for managing the home learning environment. This includes physical equipment, multi-sensory resources, and ensuring support is in place where needed.
All our teachers are fully qualified subject specialists, many of whom have taught in top UK independent schools. They bring a wealth of classroom experience and a passion for online education. Several also hold advanced degrees or examiner positions.
We have a dedicated EAL (English as an Additional Language) team that provides tailored support for students who are developing their English skills. Our team delivers a structured curriculum focused on building fluency, confidence, and language development—helping students succeed across all subjects. Support is available through personalised 1:1 sessions and small group lessons.
