MVA's elite young racing talent are swapping the tarmac for the virtual raceway with the launch of MVA's new iRacing Club, in partnership with Drivers Lab.
Across six exciting rounds, students will take part in competitive online racing events on iconic circuits from around the world, all from the safety and comfort of an at-home simulator and guided by a professional racing coach.
Each round features structured qualifying and race sessions, ensuring both consistency and variety while allowing every participant to develop their racecraft, strategy, and focus under pressure.
This programme is part of an effort to provide an education that not only supports MVA's elite young racers through flexibly fitting around their careers, but one that begins to integrate the two by bringing professional motorsport training into the extracurricular curriculum.
Not only does this provide opportunities for MVA's young drivers to hone (and show off!) their skills, it also hopes to build on Minerva's growing racing community by creating a space for them to push each other, have fun, and engage in friendly competition.
This season's races will be taking students on a full world tour, from Oulton Park in Cheshire to Tsukuba Circuit in Japan, and we can't wait to see the twists and turns that journey brings.
This initiative marks the beginning of a broader collaboration between MVA and Drivers Lab, creating new opportunities for students to explore racing, engineering, and performance development — with the potential for continued participation, advanced driver pathways, and future competitions.
In short, life can take you down many different paths. MVA believes that school works best when it adapts to keep up, rather than trying to drag you back to the mainstream.
Best of luck to all our drivers, and have fun!
