MVA Becomes First Online School Recognised for Best Practices by Amazing Apprentices

By Laura Udoh - Careers Advisor at MVA

I am incredibly proud to announce that MVA has officially been recognised as the first online school to achieve Best Practice for Careers by Amazing Apprenticeships!

As an online school, innovation is at the heart of everything we do and this recognition validates the dedication of our team and the fantastic engagement of our students.

Here is a look at some of the standout practices that earned us this recognition:

Bringing the Professional World to the Screen

During our recent whole-school Careers Week, we brought global industries directly to our students’ screens. Industry professionals "came in" virtually to share their personal journeys, proving first-hand how apprenticeships and vocational and technical qualifications pave the way to highly successful careers.

The impact? We saw phenomenal whole-school attendance, truly meaningful conversations, and fantastic follow-ups, with several students even securing face-to-face work experience with the guest companies!

Continuous, Support via Unifrog

Beyond standalone events, we ensure our students have 24/7 access to the best tools available. Through Unifrog, our all-in-one careers platform, we empower our learners to take charge of their futures. This digital toolkit allows students to independently explore live apprenticeship vacancies, build standout CVs, and practise interview techniques. It is all backed by a deeply inclusive Careers Programme that bridges the virtual and physical worlds with tailored strengths sessions and practical workshops.

What’s Next? A Truly Global Work Experience Week!

We aren't slowing down. We are channelling this momentum straight into our upcoming Work Experience Week, where our students will be stepping into the professional world both virtually and physically.

The sheer scale of what they are achieving is incredible:

  • Global Footprint: Physical placements are taking place all over the world, including right here in the UK, Taiwan, Malta, and the Netherlands, across industries like veterinary science, physiotherapy, law, engineering, and charities.
  • Virtual Giants: Our virtual work experience cohorts will be learning from industry titans, including Rolls-Royce, the NHS, the RAF, Amazon, and the Civil Aviation Authority.

A brighter future is built on the tools and knowlegde needed to build it.
