In a momentous week for Minerva Virtual Academy, we saw the long-anticipated release of the very first edition of mva:edited, Minerva's very first internal school magazine written for and by students.
The magazine features a fantastic range of work from all over the school (and therefore all over the world!) from creative writing and artwork to reports on recent Club achievements.
In a statement for MVA's weekly parent newsletter, English Teacher and Project Lead Sofie Dadge said:
We are excited to share the very first edition of mva:edited, MVA’s new student magazine. Created to celebrate the creativity, curiosity, and achievements of our community, mva:edited brings together a wide range of student work from across the school.
From Philosophy Club debates and photography captured around the world to poetry, fiction, independent research, and artistic creations, the magazine offers a glimpse into the many ways our students learn, create, and express themselves both inside and outside the classroom.
MVA has built such an incredible global community more than 1500 strong, with seriously talented students from all over the globe. mva:edited is a phenomenal opportunity to connect and share some of that talent, helping all to find inspiration and grow.
A massive congratulations to all who contributed to this first edition. Not only has it been a joy to read, you're also part of the important first group who made the leap, and started something that generations will enjoy long after you've left our virtual halls.
