Minerva Virtual Academy Students Celebrate 2025 Results

Students at Minerva Virtual Academy (MVA) celebrated strong results this summer across a wide range of A Level subjects as well as the Esports BTEC, with graduates now heading to universities in the UK and overseas.

Based on the results collected from our second, small cohort of MVA6 graduates this year, 24% of grades were A or A*, and 53% of grades were A* to C.

We are equally proud of all our students and celebrate not only the top grades but also those who made significant academic progress during their time with us, many having overcome challenges in previous school environments.

We are delighted to see the majority of graduates receiving offers from their first choice universities, including:

  • University of Exeter

  • Aberystwyth University

  • Manchester Metropolitan University

  • University of Roehampton

  • Robert Gordon University

  • Lehigh University (Pennsylvania, USA)

Others are pursuing alternative routes, including direct entry into employment, additional qualifications, and gap years to explore wider development opportunities.

Suzanne Lindley, Principal, said:

“We are delighted with the achievements of our second cohort of MVA6 students; it is a real testament to all their hard work and resilience, with many joining MVA after challenging experiences in traditional school settings. All our students, and especially our athletes, have shown how flexible learning enables them to balance academic success with their sporting commitments. These outcomes are a credit to the nurturing culture at MVA and the determination of these incredible young people. This year, as we celebrate five years of MVA, we are especially proud of how our Sixth Form continues to grow, supporting highly accomplished young people to achieve their ambitions.”

Matthew Morris, Head of Sixth Form, added:

“I am incredibly proud of our Sixth Form students’ results this year. Whether they joined us seeking academic excellence or a more personalised approach to learning, our flexible model has supported them all, regardless of their starting point. Their hard work and determination are evident in these results, as is the unwavering support provided by their teachers and mentors. Well done to all.”
