Case Study: Beren Y – Enfield LA
"Beren had withdrawn from her mainstream school due to severe anxiety and was no longer attending. Her parent and Enfield LA sought a supportive setting that could rebuild her confidence.
We worked with Enfield LA to secure panel funding, and Beren joined MVA. Within weeks, she re-engaged with learning, even participating in a school trip which restored her confidence in social interaction.
Over time, her emotional regulation improved, and in May 2025 she successfully transitioned back into in-person schooling.
“She finished with us last week and was starting at a new in-person school as of Monday. She really missed the social aspects of face-to-face schooling.” – Susan Murray, Mentor
Case Study: Zayn K – Tower Hamlets LA
"Zayn was struggling to cope in mainstream education, and his needs were not being met. His family and school worked with Tower Hamlets LA to explore alternatives, and we confirmed that MVA could support him effectively.
Following approval at LA panel, Zayn joined MVA. He has since settled quickly, engaging in all of his lessons and showing real enthusiasm for learning.
“Doing really well, he’s engaging in all of his lessons and learning and has settled in great.” – Rachel Tryner, Mentor
