Investing in the Endgame: MVA Partners with Varsity Nine

MVA is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with Varsity Nine, a leader in elite sports management and US scholarship pathways.

Minerva has already proven to be life changing for young athletes in balancing school with sport, and ensuring that students can achieve great grades without compromising their careers. But our ability to support young athletes beyond the classroom has always been more limited, taking the form of enabling and encouraging them to take opportunities.

Now, with Varsity Nine's extensive experience in sports management and pathway services, we can go a step further.

Through this partnership, MVA can now provide a scholarship pathway for students looking for further development opportunities at some of the best US universities, where they can continue to improve their athletic skills whilst also earning a world-class degree.

Varsity Nine's record in this area is fantastic, with more than 25% of supported athletes receiving a full scholarship. Among those who didn't, the average scholarship covers 73% of fees.

We know that, despite supporting some of the world’s best youth athletes, not all will go on to professional careers immediately post sixth form. Many will consequently consider the American Scholarship pathway, which is a fantastic route to earn a degree and receive a scholarship whilst competing in high level sport with the opportunity to go professional thereafter.

As part of the cooperation, MVA will be present at Varsity Nine events, and both parties will work together to provide a seamless and empowering path through the otherwise challenging experience of being a young elite athlete.

MVA athletes will also be able to access Varsity Nine's monthly combines, which provide opportunities for data tracking, guidance, and investment in technical and physical improvement.
