MVA Celebrates Euro-Diversity

Lights, camera, action! It's time for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, and Minerva's Virtual Academy are joining the party! We're pulling out all the stops to celebrate this fabulous event that brings people together from all corners of the continent. With over 300 students from 38 countries and 22 European countries, we couldn't be more excited to share our love for Eurovision and highlight the magic of music, culture, and pure fun.

We're particularly excited to announce that one of our very own students, Victor, will be representing Greece in this year's competition! It's a rare and incredible opportunity for a young talent to shine on the international stage, and we couldn't be more proud of his achievements. The Spirit of Unity: Eurovision goes beyond a mere song contest; it's a symbol of unity and togetherness. As our students at Minerva's Virtual Academy come from all around the globe, we love to embrace events that encourage camaraderie, understanding, and a shared love for music.

The Fun Factor: Let's be honest – Eurovision is an absolute blast! From the catchy tunes to the extravagant costumes and unforgettable performances, it's a visual and auditory feast that keeps us glued to our screens, cheering for our favourites and dancing along to the beat.

To make this Eurovision celebration truly special, we're taking a deep dive into the contest's history, exploring its impact on European culture, and, most importantly, having a blast! And guess what? One of our very own students, Victor, is representing Greece in this year's competition! We couldn't be more proud and excited to cheer him on. As part of our Eurovision extravaganza, this Thursday, we'll be going all out to celebrate (Euro-) Diversity Day at MVA! This is the day of Victor’s Semi-Final performance (8pm UK time), so make sure you tune in if you can. In order to celebrate the diversity of MVA, we invite all students to join Live Lessons on Thursday in some way representing their own country (whether European or not). We'll also be having a 'Show & Tell' session, so our students can teach the whole MVA community something about their country. It's a week filled with laughter, learning, and a whole lot of love for this iconic contest.
